Carmen J. Rodriguez

Carmen J. Pacheco Rodriguez, a long time resident of the Iron Bound section of Newark, NJ passed away Thursday, May 16th, at her home at the age of 97.  She was born February 2, 1922, in Maricao, Puerto Rico to Emilio Pacheco and Vicenta Rodriguez.  She is predeceased by her long time husband Guillermo Rodriguez, proud veteran of the Korean War, her son Erick Rodriguez and daughter Elga Rodriguez.  Surviving are, her son Melvin Rodriguez and wife Carmen Rodriguez of Belleville, NJ; her son Hector Rodriguez and wife Betsy Rodriguez of Avenel, NJ; grandchildren Cynthia Johnson, Amanda Rodriguez, Lauren Oliveira, Lisette Rodriguez and Eric Rodriguez; and great grandson, Ryan Oliveira.
