It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorka Iris Beltran, 84 years old, on October 4, 2024, in Elizabeth, NJ. She was surrounded by her loved ones until her last moment.

Born on May 24, 1940 in La Maya, Oriente, Cuba, Dorka lived a life marked by courage, love, and dedication to her family. In August 1959, she married the love of her life, Francisco Beltran. Together, they built a strong, loving family, raising two children, Francisco Beltran and Dania Martins.

In 1970, Dorka made the brave decision to immigrate to the United States, seeking better opportunities for her children and future generations. She settled into her new life with resilience, working at InterBake Factory for 20 years, where she was a valued and respected colleague. She made lifelong friendships throughout her time there.

She is survived by her children Francisco and Dania, her two grandchildren, Christopher Beltran and Nicole Martins, and two great-grandchildren, Mia and Christian Beltran. Dorka is also survived by her siblings, Hector Bell and Liset Bell, who will forever cherish her memory.

Dorka’s love for her family and friends was evident in every meal she prepared, as she had a passion for cooking and entertaining for those she cared about most. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth, laughter, and delicious aromas that lingered long after the visits had ended.

Dorka’s legacy of love, sacrifice, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her friends and family forever.

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Dorka Iris Beltrán, de 84 años, el 4 de Octubre de 2024 en Elizabeth, Nueva Jersey. Estuvo rodeada de sus seres queridos hasta su último momento.

Nacida el 24 de mayo de 1940 en La Maya, Oriente, Cuba, Dorka vivió una vida marcada por el coraje, el amor y la dedicación a su familia. En agosto de 1959 se casó con el amor de su vida, Francisco Beltrán. Juntos formaron una familia fuerte y amorosa y criaron a dos hijos, Francisco Beltrán y Dania Martins.

En 1970, Dorka tomó la valiente decisión de emigrar a los Estados Unidos en busca de mejores oportunidades para sus hijos y las generaciones futuras. Se adaptó a su nueva vida con resiliencia y trabajó en InterBake Factory durante 20 años, donde era una colega valorada y respetada. Hizo amistades para toda la vida durante su estancia allí.
