Hector Grana

Hector Grana, of Edison, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the age of 89, with his beloved wife and their children by his side.

Hector was born in Uruguay and lived in New Jersey for most of his life. He was a winning motorcycle racer in his youth and became a mechanical engineer after marriage. He was married to his wife (Mercedes) for 67 years and had two children, Ana and Juan (Nury). Hector was a witty, bright, hard working man and will be remembered fondly by his children, grandchildren (Jennifer, Jonathan), family and friends.

A viewing will be held May 11, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm at Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 East Jersey St, Elizabeth, 07201. A private funeral will be held on May 12, 2022 at St Gertrude Cemetery.
