Isabel Martinez Fonseca

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Isabel Martinez Fonseca, who entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in Holguín, Cuba, Isabel lived a life filled with love, wisdom, and quiet strength.

A devoted mother, Isabel is survived by her beloved daughters Nidieska Tobar and Alma Solis, who were the light of her life. Loving aunt of Antonio "Tony" Martinez. She cherished every moment spent with them, offering unwavering love, support, and guidance.

Isabel had a deep passion for literature, often immersing herself in the pages of a good book. She found joy in solving puzzles, a pastime that kept her mind sharp and engaged. Whether watching classic films or enjoying her favorite television shows, she always appreciated a well-told story.

Her kindness, intellect, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and resilience will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, February 4th from 4-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.

A catholic funeral service will commence at 10am on Wednesday, February 5th in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
