It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lael Gallegos, age 11, of Roselle, New Jersey, who passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, surrounded by the endless love of her family.

Lael was the cherished daughter of Josue Gallegos and Silvia Maldonado, who loved her beyond words. In her short but beautiful life, Lael touched the hearts of everyone she met with her bright smile, kind spirit, and boundless joy. She had a gentle soul, a loving heart, and a light that could warm any room.

Lael loved art, music, and spending time with her family, where her laughter and playful spirit made every moment unforgettable. She had a wisdom and kindness beyond her years, teaching all who knew her about courage, compassion, and unconditional love.

Though her time with us was far too brief, Lael’s legacy of love, strength, and hope will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted parents, her extended family, her friends, and the entire community who grieve the loss of such a beautiful soul.

Services to honor Lael’s life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the joy she brought into the world.

We will miss Lael every day, but we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will always surround us, guiding and loving us from above.
