Luis Alfonso Delgado, de 85 años, de la ciudad de Elizabeth, falleció en Westfield, NJ el 29 de mayo de 2023. Luis nació en Guayanilla, Puerto Rico el 22 de octubre de 1937 de Ramona y Juan Delgado.

Luis se casó con Hortensia y juntos tuvieron 2 hijos, Luis Jr y Sonia. Luis trabajaba como soldador y disfrutaba escuchar música, ver béisbol, hacer jardinería y pasar tiempo con la familia. A Luis le sobreviven su esposa Hortensia; su hija Sonia; sus nietos Cathaline, Robert, Luis, Jazmin y Stephanie; sus bisnietos Caleb, Malachi, Naomi y Nolan. Ambos padres le precedieron en muerte junto con su hijo Luis Jr.

Los servicios conmemorativos se llevarán a cabo en Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home el sábado 3 de junio de 2023 entre las 2 p. m. y las 5 p. m.

Luis Alfonso Delgado, 85, Elizabeth, passed away in Westfield, NJ on May 29, 2023. Luis was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico on October 22, 1937 to Ramona and Juan Delgado.

Luis married Hortensia and together they had 2 children, Luis Jr and Sonia. Luis worked as a welder and enjoyed listening to music, watching baseball, gardening and spending time with family.
Luis is survived by his wife Hortensia; daughter Sonia; grandchildren Cathaline, Robert, Luis, Jazmin, and Stephanie; great grandchildren Caleb, Malachi, Naomi, and Nolan. He was predeceased by father Juan, mother Ramona and son Luis Jr.

Visitation will take place at the Las Rosas- Bannworth Funeral Home on Saturday June 3, 2023 between 2pm and 5pm. Cremation will be private.
