Matias Guzman

Matias Guzman, 78, of Rahway passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 6, 2025. Matias was the devoted father of Denia P. Guzman and her husband Jose Gomez, Zaira Holanda Guzman, Dehney Kerene Guzman and Liliana Guzman. He is the cherished grandfather of Michael Gomez, Denhey Gomez, Abraham Guzman, Yoleni Maldonado, Omar Maldonado, Matteo Guzman, Adael Guzman and Dylan Guzman. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the guitar, watching soccer and playing dominoes. His family shared that Matias was a jokester. He will be truly missed.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, January 12th from 5-9pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ.

Burial will take place on Monday, January 13th, 11am in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ

Matías Guzmán, de 78 años, de Rahway, falleció pacíficamente en su casa el lunes 6 de enero de 2025. Matías fue el devoto padre de Denia P. Guzmán y su esposo José Gómez, Zaira Holanda Guzmán, Dehney Kerene Guzmán y Liliana Guzmán. Es el querido abuelo de Michael Gómez, Denhey Gómez, Abraham Guzmán, Yoleni Maldonado, Omar Maldonado, Matteo Guzmán, Adael Guzmán y Dylan Guzmán. En su tiempo libre le gustaba tocar la guitarra, ver fútbol y jugar dominó. Su familia compartió que Matías era un bromista. Se le echará mucho de menos.

Familiares y amigos pueden visitar el domingo 12 de enero de 5 a 9 p.m. en Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ.

El entierro se llevará a cabo el lunes 13 de enero a las 11 a.m. en el cementerio de Rosehill, Linden, NJ
