Migdalia Vigier

Migdalia Vigier, 82, of Elizabeth, NJ who passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 23, 1942, in Guantánamo, Cuba, Migdalia was a beacon of warmth, love, and unwavering faith throughout her life.

She was the devoted wife of Angel Vigier, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they built a strong, loving family that became her greatest joy and legacy. Migdalia was the beloved mother of Enrique Vigier, Lourdes Vigier, Marlene Vigier, Angel Vigier, Eliecer Vigier, and Reveca Vigier. Her love extended to her 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, with whom she cherished countless moments of laughter, affection, and shared memories.

Migdalia was known for her boundless kindness and generosity, welcoming everyone who crossed her threshold with open arms. Her home, affectionately referred to as the "Church House" by many, was a sanctuary where love, faith, and community flourished. Whether it was through her heartfelt conversations over the phone or the simple joy of spending time with her family, she made everyone feel special and deeply valued.

Above all, Migdalia loved her grandchildren with all her heart, and they brought her endless happiness. She found beauty in life’s simple pleasures and was a steadfast source of love and guidance to her family. Migdalia’s legacy is one of compassion, faith, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. She lived a beautiful life, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Migdalia’s love will remain a guiding light for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In honor of Migdalia's spirit, the family kindly requests that guests refrain from wearing black attire. Instead, please wear a vibrant color of your choice, with the option of incorporating the color purple- Her favorite color- as a tribute to her beautiful soul.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, February 1st from 9-11am in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.

Funeral service will commence in the funeral home at 11am.

Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden.

Fue la devota esposa de Ángel Vigier, con quien compartió una vida llena de amor y compañerismo. Juntos, construyeron una familia fuerte y amorosa que se convirtió en su mayor alegría y legado. Migdalia fue la amada madre de Enrique Vigier, Lourdes Vigier, Marlene Vigier, Ángel Vigier, Elicier Vigier y Reveca Vigier. Su amor se extendió a sus 24 nietos y 22 bisnietos, con quienes atesoró incontables momentos de risas, afecto y recuerdos compartidos.

Migdalia fue conocida por su infinita bondad y generosidad, siempre recibiendo a todos los que cruzaban el umbral de su hogar con los brazos abiertos. Familiares y amigos están invitados a visitar el sábado 1 de Febrero de 9 a 11 de la mañana en Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.

El servicio funerario comenzará en la funeraria a las 11 de la mañana.

El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Rosehill, en Linden.
