Olga Maritza Carrillo Rivera

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Olga Maritza Carrillo Rivera, 53, of Elizabeth, NJ, who passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. Olga was a beloved sister, a cherished friend, and a vibrant soul who brought warmth and joy to those around her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Katiana Acevedo Carrillo & Ivan Alexander Cortes. Her devoted siblings, Barbara Carrillo Rivera, Jorge Carrillo Rivera, Carlos Alberto Carrillo Rivera, Brenda Carrillo Rivera and Mayra Carrillo Rivera, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Olga lived life with passion and enthusiasm. She found immense joy in attending concerts, singing along to her favorite songs, and surrounding herself with music. She had a talent for cooking and baking, always sharing her delicious creations with loved ones. Olga also had a love for shopping, delighting in finding treasures that brought happiness to her and those she cared for.

Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, February 13th from 5-8pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you honor her memory by cherishing time with your loved ones and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life, just as she did.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Olga Maritza Carrillo Rivera, de 53 años, de Elizabeth, NJ, quien partió en paz el 10 de febrero de 2025. Olga fue una hermana amada, una amiga entrañable y un alma vibrante que irradiaba calidez y alegría a quienes la rodeaban.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Katiana Acevedo Carrillo y Ivan Alexander Cortes. Su dedicados hermanos, Barbara Carrillo Rivera, Jorge Carrillo Rivera, Carlos Alberto Carrillo Rivera, Brenda Carrillo Rivera y Mayra Carrillo Rivera, quienes atesorarán por siempre su memoria en sus corazones.

Olga vivió la vida con pasión y entusiasmo. Encontraba una inmensa felicidad asistiendo a conciertos, cantando sus canciones favoritas y rodeándose de música. Tenía un talento especial para la cocina y la repostería, compartiendo siempre sus deliciosas creaciones con sus seres queridos. También disfrutaba ir de compras, alegrándose al encontrar pequeños tesoros que traían felicidad tanto a ella como a quienes amaba.

Su bondad, su risa y su amor incondicional serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Aunque ya no esté físicamente con nosotros, su espíritu vivirá eternamente en los corazones de quienes tocó.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a visitarla el Jueves 13 de Febrero, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.
