William Ortiz

William Ortiz, 66, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Monday July 12th, 2021 at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ. Born on August 28, 1955 in Yauco, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Ruben Ortiz and Gertrude Ortiz. He was a veteran of the US Navy.

Surviving are his mother Gertrude Baumer Ortiz, sister Jane Coyan (Craig) from Destin, Florida,  his brother Charles Ortiz (Cyndee) of Chatham, NJ, and one nephew, Robert Coyan of Memphis, TN.

No Services are planned at this time. At a later date, William will be placed at with Military honors, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery for a date of service. Our sincere thanks to his friends, who enhanced his life over the years and the wonderful care for all at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, NJ. May he rest in Peace.
