Zoila Moscoso Freire

Zoila Moscoso Freire, 74, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2025.

Born in Ecuador, Zoila was a loving and devoted mother to Rosa Riccio &  her husband Oswaldo Riccio and Byron Proano along with her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Bryan, Brianna and Jayden. She was a woman of great warmth, kindness, and strength, always putting the needs of her family before her own.

Zoila will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering love, and the joy she brought to those around her. She touched the lives of many with her compassion and wisdom, leaving behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, April 1st from 5-9pm in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd at 10am in Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
